The New Jersey Packaging Executives Club (NJPEC) has named its 2014 officers, which have been voted in by members. They are:

President: Howie Greenberg, Allstate Paper Box

Vice President: John Ziemba, Aquarian LLC

Treasurer: Jessica Lum, Topline Products

Acting Secretary: Steve Chapman, Albea

The organization’s 2013 president, Susan Weinstock, of Johnson & Johnson, looked back proudly at NJPEC’s 2013 accommplishments, which included:

  • A new corporate sponsorship program with improved benefits and visibility for our sponsors; 6 sponsors were secured in Year One, with many prospects in the pipeline.

  • A membership increase of 45%, plus several terrific new committee chairs who will help lead the club into the future.

  • An expanded presence in social media through a larger Linked-in group, the launch of our Facebook page, and further activity in both areas.

  • Website enhancements including job postings, industry news, and sponsor profiles. A significant increase in monthly hits is a solid reflection of the value of our website to the packaging community.

  • Four successful evening programs, including a sold-out Package of the Year banquet with a record-breaking tricky tray event.
Weinstock added: “NJPEC is in capable hands with this leadership team! I want to especially thank the NJPEC leaders and members for their support of the club and of my role as President.”
